Namibian-German partnership showcase at Intersolar in Munich
Presenting opportunities for business in Namibia’s renewables market
The Namibian-German partnership of the German Solar Industry Association (BSW) is pleased to present an exciting event on “Opportunities in the Namibian Solar Market” on 15th June at the 2023 Intersolar Europe trade fair in Munich. The event at this year’s fair “The Smarter E” will take place from 11 -11:50am in Room B.12 (above Hall B1).
The 50-minute event will feature high-ranking representatives from the Namibian and German solar industries. David Wedepohl, Managing Director International Affairs of the German Solar Industry Association (BSW), will open the event and introduce the partnership between the Renewable Energy Industry Association of Namibia (REIAoN) and the BSW. Jan-Barend Scheepers, Acting REIAoN Chairman will talk about trends and opportunities in the Namibian green hydrogen market. Paulus Mulunga, REIAoN Secretary and board member, will present business opportunities for German companies in Namibia’s solar industry.
Elizabeth Ipangelwa, Green Hydrogen Technical Advisor of the Business Alliance and Green People’s Energy of GIZ in Namibia, will talk about renewable energy and hydrogen. A business speed-dating session lets participants ask questions, exchange ideas with other representatives and make valuable business contacts.
